Conscious Connected Breathwork

This is a unique breathing technique where we activate the breath on the inhale, and connect each breath without pause to journey through a rhythmic circular full body breath

Through this technique we learn to move safely into the edges of our emotion, and to become aware of the physical, emotional and energetic stories that we hold deep in our bodies.

We begin to regulate the nervous system and process and release trauma in the body via an altered state of consciousness.

This is where deep healing can take place, and where we can release trapped emotional energy and survival stress from the body, allowing the possibility of profound transformative healing.

The power of being in these altered states allows us to move into deeper layers of the body where we can experience feelings, insights and memories that are not normally accessible during waking consciousness. This is where deep healing can take place, and where we can release trapped emotional energy and survival stress from the body.

Contraindications & Safe Practice

Held With Trauma-Informed Care

As a trauma-informed breathwork teacher, my intention is to create spaces where transformation
is possible. Conscious Connected Breathwork is profound, potent, and deeply intelligent, and
deserves to be met with clarity, consent, and care.

‘Nothing in this space is forced’

Your body leads.
Your breath decides.
This is essential when exploring a practice that can open emotional, energetic, and spiritual
layers.

Contraindications

The following conditions may mean that full strong, open mouth-connected breathwork is not
suitable at this time. It does not automatically exclude you from gentler guided breath practices
such as soft circular nasal breathing, coherence work, or a slower rhythmic style.
If any apply, we will adapt, modify, or work collaboratively to find the safest path forward.

Contraindications include:

Pregnancy (especially delicate, early, third trimester)
Uncontrolled high blood pressure, low blood pressure or cardiovascular disease
Recent surgery (abdominal, thoracic, heart, or eye)
Glaucoma or recent retinal issues
A history of epilepsy or seizures
Bipolar I disorder, active psychosis or dissociative state where altered states may not be safely contained.
Severe osteoporosis
Recent concussion or neurological injury
Use of alcohol, sedatives, or recreational substances

What Safe Practice Looks Like Here

Here is how we ensure the work remains grounded, ethical, and honouring of your whole system:
Choice-first facilitation – sovereignty at every moment
Optional pacing – from full CCB to gentle connected nasal rhythms
Trauma-informed attunement – tracking activation, overwhelm, dissociation
Clear agreements – consent, confidentiality, autonomy
Continuous support – guidance before, during, and after
Integration time – the landing is part of the medicine

“If intensity rises, we soften.
If emotion comes, we honour.
If overwhelm appears, we pause.”

If You’re Unsure

If you have a medical or psychological condition, or if you’re not sure whether a strong
breathwork journey is appropriate, reach out. We will discuss your needs, your history, and
determine the safest and most supportive style of breathwork for you.

‘Your wellbeing is the priority.’

Whether you are stepping into this work for the first time or returning home to it, you will be
held with care, clarity, and love.

“Breath is is the oldest spiritual practice on Earth.”

This work reaches into places within us that are tender, ancient, and intimate.
And so, respect for the body’s intelligence is non-negotiable.
